Communications & Engagement Partner

Connexa is New Zealand’s leading mobile tower infrastructure company, enabling a more connected digital future for Aotearoa. We design, build and manage mobile sites nationwide for telco partners like Spark and 2degrees—supporting coverage from Cape Reinga to Bluff. With mobile data usage surging, we’re growing fast. Our portfolio of 2,500 towers will expand by a further 800 sites over the next eight years, making this a rare opportunity to help shape a young, high-impact sector of the telecommunications industry. As our Communications & Engagement Partner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that engage with stakeholders, including telco partners, government agencies, and local communities. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration across all aspects of our business. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans to support the growth and development of our mobile tower infrastructure portfolio; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with telco partners, government agencies, and local communities through effective stakeholder engagement strategies; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across all aspects of our business; • Providing expert advice on communication strategy and tactics to support the growth and development of our portfolio; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform and shape our communication strategies. What you will need: • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; and/or relevant experience in a similar role; • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and style to suit different audiences; • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
