Type of employment: Full-time Professional support and advice for our guests in wine selection and enjoyment, in accordance with the high standards of the Silvio Nickol Gourmet Restaurant. Your tasks: * Assisting the head sommelier in all aspects of wine service. * Maintaining and organizing the wine cellar. * Preparing the service areas for wine service. * Taking orders and serving wine according to our service standards. * Providing comprehensive advice to our guests on wine and beverage selection. * Developing and expanding our wine list in collaboration with the head sommelier and the kitchen team. * Ensuring the correct storage and optimal presentation of our wines. * Communicating with guests to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations. * Participating in wine tastings and further training. * Handling guest inquiries and requests related to wine. Your profile: * Completed training as a sommelier or relevant experience in the high-end gastronomy sector. * A passion for wine and a broad knowledge of national and international wines, spirits, and other beverages. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A service-oriented mindset and a confident, elegant demeanor. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Good knowledge of German and English is required; further languages are an advantage. * Experience with wine management software is a plus.
