As a Commis or Serveur In Room Dining / Pureaty Café, you will contribute to creating privileged moments of relaxation, whether in the comfort of rooms or at Pureaty Café, by the pool.

Summary of responsibilities :

Main missions :

• Propose permanent professional, pleasant, and engaging service
• Familiarize yourself with the concept and offer of the department (In Room Dining, amenities, and Pureaty Café)
• Know the menu, its garnishes, content, and preparation method, and master sales techniques
• Inform clients as needed, find the necessary information for them, and control orders before serving them to clients
• Serve orders to clients in their rooms with discretion while offering perfect service
• Be responsible for client satisfaction and well-being
• Ensure good communication between IRD-Pureaty Café and kitchen services
• Show flexibility and cooperation in all circumstances, especially when working in another department on a punctual basis
• Participate in cleaning tasks assigned to you in an efficient manner
• Participate in an annual or as-needed evaluation interview with your supervisor
• Learn LQA technical and emotional standards and put them into practice
• Refine your technical and theoretical knowledge to ensure perfect service for a demanding clientele
• Commit to the quality of your service, discretion, and honesty
• Have a professional attitude, be smiling, and always keep calm
• Respect ergonomic work standards, health and safety regulations, hygiene and sanitation prescriptions
• Respect department and company policies, procedures, and service norms

Special missions for Commis :

Reporting to the Room Dining / Pureaty Café Supervisor, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, without being limited to :

• Be responsible for the proper execution of setup and preparation tasks in your sector, in collaboration with your supervisor
• Aid servers in all their functions and lighten their workload
• Replenish regularly consoles with clean tableware, glasses, and napkins, as well as various condiments making up the setup
• Take orders from clients at Pureaty Café or by phone (IRD)
• Set up the Pureaty Café room office and In Room Dining
• Ensure service at Pureaty Café in collaboration with the server
• Dress tables according to establishment standards
• Serve plates and beverages at table at Pureaty Café, according to standards
• Participate in the smooth running of service and inform the server of received information

Special missions for Server :

Reporting to the In-Room Dining – Pureaty Café Supervisor, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, without being limited to :

• Take orders from clients by phone
• Implement all necessary actions to provide high-quality service, serve clients according to their expectations, and ensure their satisfaction
• Provide dynamic and quality service to satisfy clients
• Know how to use Silverware and control the bill before presenting it to clients
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of carts and their storage
• Execute opening and closing tasks
• Take care of the cash register and Silverware
• Mastery of the Silverware tool and its proper use
• Participate actively in inventory within your department
• Communicate any problem to your supervisor
• Participate in an annual or as-needed evaluation interview with your supervisor
• Be responsible for the proper execution of service tasks assigned to you
