We are now looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join the Xpress team.

About the opportunity

Joining the Head Chef and passionate kitchen team, this unique and highly sought after opportunity as an experienced Commis Chef will see you work in a fast paced kitchen in a bustling and fun venue. This role will see you supporting the kitchen by ensuring all food is prepared, well presented, and fresh for each meal order. You will monitor and maintain food handling and kitchen hygiene standards, while assisting with other duties as determined by the Head Chef.

About you

You will have demonstrated experience and knowledge working in a kitchen environment, with the ability to handle fast-paced services. You will have fantastic presentation skills and a keen eye for detail, with a commitment to providing extraordinary customer service, assisting in the overall experience for our guests at Xpress. Previous wok experience is desired. You will also possess the relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications as well as your Food Safety Certificate.
