Commis Chef - Ristorante Oro, Hotel Cipriani

Chef Vania Ghedini is looking for a Commis Chef / Assistant Cook to expand the brigade at Ristorante Oro, which has maintained its Michelin star, confirming its place among the best gastronomic destinations in Italy.

From its unique position on the island of Giudecca, Oro offers a culinary experience inspired by the rhythms and colors of the Venetian lagoon, enhancing the best local ingredients.

This is a seasonal full-time position, i.e. 40 hours a week distributed over 5 days (Sunday and Monday are the restaurant's closing days).

The hiring is scheduled for April 2026.

Requirements

• essential at least one year of experience in the role in fine dining/gourmet restaurants;
• excellent teamwork and time and priority management skills;
• the necessary knowledge in the field of food hygiene is required;
• good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

Any non-EU applications will only be considered if the candidates are in possession of the permits to work in Italy at the time of application.
