Commis Chef

Job Description Accor is in a partnership with one of the World's Leading Airlines, to manage the Lounge operations located in Changi Airport. This position supports the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in the daily operations of the kitchen. As a member of the kitchen team, the role involves preparing and cooking meals, operating commercial kitchen equipment and ensuring that a clean and safe working environment is consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for guests; Maintain high standards of presentation, quality and consistency of dishes; Ensure all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times; Work closely with Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations; Participate in menu planning and development as required; Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Accor's cleanliness and organization standards; Assist in the ordering and receiving of ingredients and supplies; Perform other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie. Requirements Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience; Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role; Skills: Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, excellent communication skills; Certifications: Food Safety Certification (HACCP) and/or other relevant certifications; Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 kg, stand for long periods, and move around the kitchen area.
