This vacancy is primarily home-based, and we are looking for someone living in the North Holland, South Holland or North Brabant region.

The challenge

What will you do exactly as a Commercial Vegetable Specialist Tomato and Paprika?

• You’re in charge! You will focus on maximizing sales and growth of the market share of the assigned crop: tomato and paprika. This includes improving the position of our existing varieties and introducing new varieties to our growers. You will gain insight into the dynamics of the chain and purchase motivations of leading growers. You are responsible for these crops in our Dutch market in your assigned area. You can fill out your work entirely independently and with all freedom.
• This role goes beyond just sales. You will gain in-depth knowledge about crop management, both technically and economically. Setting up and following demo trials to gain more knowledge of our varieties and products is also part of your work.
• You are seen as a trusted advisor for our customers. Building a professional relationship with growers and chain parties based on expertise and trust stands central in this role. So you collect all market knowledge to increase your insight into market parties and significant trends, and do everything to give the best advice. If something goes wrong, you handle complaints from growers and see this as an opportunity to create new chances.
