Commercial Property Manager (Senior)

What you will be doing: Act as the primary custodian for ensuring the portfolio meets all statutory requirements, including Occupational Health and Safety regulations, property valuations, rent reviews, lease negotiations, tenant management, and compliance with relevant legislation. This role is responsible for managing a diverse range of properties, including office buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, and residential developments. Key responsibilities include: • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the portfolio, ensuring that all properties are properly maintained, repaired, and managed to maximize their value. • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects and services. • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize property performance, including identifying opportunities for growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing tenant satisfaction. • Providing exceptional customer service to tenants, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded through proactive communication, prompt issue resolution, and effective problem-solving. • Collaborating with the finance team to prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of portfolio performance. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to continuously improve property management processes and outcomes. • Fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team, promoting open communication, trust, and respect among colleagues. • Participating in regular performance reviews and goal-setting exercises with your supervisor, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to achieve goals. • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all property-related activities, including maintenance requests, tenant complaints, and lease agreements. • Working closely with the HR department to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment laws. • Participating in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as property management, finance, and customer service. • What we offer: A competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits program, opportunities for professional growth and development, a dynamic and supportive work environment, and the satisfaction of working for a reputable company with a strong track record of success.
