Commercial Officer

Commercial Officer Concor Construction Pty Ltd invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Commercial Officer to join our projects across Southern Africa. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Commercial Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for vetting and approving the terms and conditions of any tenders/proposals submitted by the estimating department, assessing project viability, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for providing commercial support to project managers, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on time, and identifying and mitigating potential risks. The successful incumbent will be required to work closely with the estimating department to ensure that all tenders/proposals are properly vetted and approved, and to provide commercial support to project managers to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on time. The successful incumbent will also be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all commercial transactions, and to provide regular reports to the Commercial Manager on the status of all projects. The successful incumbent will be required to have a strong understanding of commercial law and a strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful incumbent will also be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
