Commercial Manager

RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team in Benoni, Gauteng.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving commercial strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team to meet profitability and sales goals within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the commercial team to achieve business objectives

• Oversee and grow key account relationships

• Develop and implement sales and profitability plans

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity

• Manage sales budgets and drive revenue targets

• Negotiate price increases with clients

• Lead projects and provide category leadership across the business

• Coordinate planning activities across departments to align with business goals

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Retail Management, Technology, or a relevant tertiary qualification (minimum 3 years)

• 8+ years of experience in account management

• Proven experience in the food industry

• Experience managing and leading teams

• Retail experience is advantageous

• Proficient in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
