The Role:

As a Commercial Broker, you will manage a varied commercial portfolio, providing advice and tailored insurance solutions across multiple industries. You will own the full broking process, from client engagement and risk assessment through to policy placement, while liaising with insurers to secure competitive terms. This role is urgent, with the successful candidate expected to start in January or February.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a commercial portfolio, delivering expert advice and solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business risks and needs
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and renewal documentation
• Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure favourable terms
• Support clients through claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Maintain compliance and accurate documentation

About You:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Broker
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident in client-facing situations
• Attention to detail with a proactive, client-focused approach
• Motivated to grow a long-term career in commercial broking
• Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services (General Insurance) or ANZIIF qualification
• Excited by the opportunity to relocate to Taupō and embrace the lifestyle it offers
