Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst Employment type: Full time Location: Gardens, Cape Town Reporting to: Senior Commercial Operations Manager Working Setup: Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 to 19:00. The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support our business growth. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business growth and decision-making. • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives. • Provide financial analysis and support to the commercial operations team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to minimize their impact. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders, clients, and internal teams. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure Funding Bay remains a leading player in the fintech industry. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in a commercial finance or accounting role. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
