Commercial Executive - Marine Construction

Job description

Overview: We are working with a specialized engineering and project-based company in the marine and construction sector to hire a Commercial Executive (Contracts & Costing) . This role involves managing tender submissions, supporting contract negotiations, liaising with internal teams and subcontractors, and ensuring commercial documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong client relationships while exploring new commercial opportunities. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the marine and construction industry. Provide commercial support to the project management team, ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed. This includes managing tender submissions, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring that all commercial documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, and develop and maintain a network of contacts within the industry. Key Requirements: Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with experience in the marine and construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or construction management. Relevant certifications or qualifications in commercial management, contracts, or project management would be an advantage. Skills: Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with experience in the marine and construction industry.
