Location: Norfolk/Suffolk
Salary: £44,000
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Catering & Heating Engineer to join a dynamic team. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment and heating systems across a variety of client sites, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other commercial premises. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring technical expertise, attention to safety, and excellent service skills.

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Catering & Heating Engineer to join a dynamic team. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment and heating systems across a variety of client sites, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other commercial premises. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring technical expertise, attention to safety, and excellent service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain commercial catering equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers).
- Install, service, and maintain commercial heating systems, including gas boilers.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on gas and electric systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards.
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
- attend emergency breakdowns as required.
- Proven experience as a commercial catering and/or heating engineer.
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, COCATA1).
- COMCAT qualifications (e.g. COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5) for catering equipment (desirable).
- Current Gas Safe registration.
- Full Clean UK driving licence.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of health & safety compliance.
- Willing to undertake further training if and when required.
- Rational Training / Experience (Desirable)
- Company van (with fuel card) for work use
