Our client, a Taupō-based brokerage, is seeking an experienced Commercial Broker to take over an established portfolio and deliver expert risk solutions to valued clients.

About the Role:

This respected local brokerage is seeking an experienced Commercial Broker to manage and expand an established commercial portfolio. In this role, you’ll be the primary contact for clients, delivering tailored risk solutions, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring exceptional service. You’ll also be responsible for securing new business, managing pre-renewals, overseeing remarketing, handling debtor management, and processing policy endorsements.
With a strong market reputation, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team that genuinely supports its brokers.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of experience managing a commercial book.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand commercial insurance market.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent negotiation and risk advisory skills.
• Relevant qualifications, such as ANZIIF or New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
