Commercial Broker Support

Tyler Wren is partnering with a respected New Zealand insurance broking group to recruit a motivated Commercial Broker Support based in South Auckland.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in supporting brokers to deliver exceptional service to commercial clients.

About the Role You’ll play a key part in supporting a team of experienced Commercial Brokers, helping them manage a diverse portfolio of mid-market clients across industries such as construction, manufacturing, and logistics. Your day will include preparing renewals, processing endorsements, assisting with claims, and ensuring client records are accurate and compliant.

This role offers a mix of autonomy and collaboration, you’ll work closely with brokers, underwriters, and insurers, contributing to a positive, client-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support brokers with renewals, new business quotes, and policy documentation
• Manage client queries, process endorsements, and assist with claims lodgement
• Maintain accurate records and compliance standards within insurance systems
• Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely, accurate placement of cover
• Contribute to a supportive, values-led team environment

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in insurance broking or underwriting (commercial preferred)
• Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services/ANZIIF(General Insurance) or working towards it
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in insurance systems and Microsoft Office
