Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to discuss outstanding balances. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities. Research and resolve discrepancies on accounts. Adhere to all federal, state, and local collection laws and regulations. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve issues. Meet or exceed monthly collection goals. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in collections or a related field preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of collection laws and regulations. Benefits Competitive salary.
