Oikonomakis Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Collection & Revenue Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the firm's collections process, ensuring timely and effective management of receivables, and enhancing our overall revenue cycle. Key Responsibilities: Manage the firm’s accounts receivable, including invoicing, collection efforts, and dispute resolution. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely payment. Monitor and analyze client payment trends, providing reports and insights to management. Implement and maintain collection procedures and strategies. Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts, working with relevant departments as needed. Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts, including sending notices and making phone calls. Negotiate payment plans with clients, as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection. Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and accounting, to resolve complex issues. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable. Identify and recommend improvements to the collection process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong understanding of debt collection laws and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
