Testing Engineer
Job description
Humangest SpA, Monza branch, is looking for a Testing Engineer to be inserted into the technical team dedicated to testing, commissioning, and functional verification of electrical panels, conversion plants, and substation electrical systems (AC/DC) in the railway infrastructure and metropolitan area. The candidate will have the responsibility of ensuring the correct functioning of the installations, according to project specifications, technical norms, and quality standards required by the client. Main responsibilities - Perform testing in factory (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) of electrical panels, equipment, and automation systems for railway substations. - Verify the correct installation and configuration of the installations according to electrical diagrams and technical specifications. - Carry out functional tests, isolation, protection, and safety tests on BT, MT, static converters, transformers, sectionizers, circuit breakers, protective relays, etc. - Interface with designers, suppliers, and project managers during testing and commissioning phases. - Prepare technical documentation for testing (test reports, non-conformity reports, certifications). - Collaborate in the analysis of any faults or malfunctions and propose technical solutions. - Ensure compliance with CEI, IEC, EN standards and railway standards (RFI, ANSFISA, etc.). Requirements requested Degree: - Technical diploma in electrical engineering or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: - At least 3 years of experience in testing or commissioning complex electrical installations, preferably in the railway or industrial sector. - Experience with substation electrical systems, MT/BT panels, static converters, and protection systems. Technical skills: - In-depth knowledge of electrical diagrams and measurement instruments (megger, multimeter, relay test set, etc.). - Familiarity with protection systems (ABB, Schneider or similar). - Knowledge of CEI standards. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD). - Knowledge of SCADA, automation, and telecommand systems. The job classification and remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and skills. Working hours: FULL TIME, Monday to Friday on a daily basis.
