Amazon Sortation Center Associate
Job OverviewIf you enjoy a dynamic, physical job that gets you up and moving, come collaborate with us in bringing orders to life and be part of the team dedicated to delivering smiles.As an Amazon Sortation Center Associate, you will be part of the first stop in a package's journey from leaving our Fulfillment Centers. You will sort, scan, and stack packages onto pallets and help prepare customer orders for delivery. Offered shifts are full-time. You will be able to work between 40 and 48 hours a week. Shifts can be day or night. Main Functions and Responsibilities
- Receive and order inventory.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery.
- Utilize scanners, computers, and portable printers.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Preparation and arrangement of operating space.
- Scanning and counting packages.
- Honesty.
- Proactivity.
- Flexibility to work and swap shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adaptability to change and prioritization of activities.
- Effective communication.
- Dynamic learning.
- Safety: Your safety is important, so we will provide you with the necessary protective equipment.
- Environment: You will work with a large number of people and moving machinery.
- Dress Code: Casual, with some rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe rubber shoes are required.
- Breaks: Amazon has implemented the necessary measures to ensure that workers have appropriate seating. During rest and meal periods, employees may take their break in the cafeteria area where chairs are available, or leave the Company premises if they wish.
