COE SAP Demand Planning Specialist Position Summary The COE SAP Demand Planning Specialist will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Global Sales and Operations Planning functions. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices are implemented, and maintaining high standards of process and systems management across the organization. Responsibilities Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and enhance demand planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce inventory levels, and optimize supply chain performance. Analyze and optimize existing processes to ensure alignment with business objectives. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. SAP Demand Planning: Utilize SAP Demand Planning tools to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize supply chain operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective demand planning strategies. Ensure accurate forecasting by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors. Supply Chain Management: Work closely with the global supply chain team to ensure seamless integration of demand planning processes into overall supply chain management. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive process improvements and optimize supply chain performance. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reporting and analytics to senior leadership on demand planning performance, forecasting accuracy, and supply chain metrics. Collaborate with data analysts to develop and implement reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field required. Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, operations research, or a related field. SAP Demand Planning certification preferred. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP Demand Planning tools and processes. Certifications: SAP Demand Planning certification preferred.
