Cook - Residential Center

Cook wanted for a residential center in Gijón. The main mission is to prepare quality menus designed for users, visitors, and center staff. Daily tasks include managing the pantry, receiving and checking food orders, controlling inventory, maintaining the kitchen clean and in good condition, cooking according to established dietary regimes, and supervising the assembly of carts for meal service. They are also responsible for placing orders with suppliers when instructed by their superior and ensuring the uniformity and hygiene of the team under their charge. Compulsory primary education and complementary training in cooking or the use of chemical cleaning products are required. Training in food handling and previous experience in the position are valued. A temporary contract, full-time, with rotating shifts of morning (7:30 AM to 3:00 PM) and afternoon (3:30 PM to 9:30 PM) is offered.
