Your Tasks

• Analyze existing Cobol batch processes and create a migration concept for the transition to Java

• Implement migrated batch logic in Java using Spring Boot and Spring Batch

• Analyze and adopt relevant Cobol components, including adaptation to the target architecture

• Development and maintenance of automated unit and integration tests with JUnit

• Integration of migrated components into the Digital-Finance-Architecture and development of necessary REST interfaces

• Documentation of migration steps, support for deployments, and cooperation with architecture and platform teams to ensure code quality and operability

Must-Have Requirements

• Good knowledge of digital finance architecture

• Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Batch

• Safe handling of JUnit tests

• Experience with Cobol-to-Java migrations

Might-Have Requirements

• Cobol knowledge advantageous

• FI knowledge desirable (development environment)

Further Information

The project is fully remote executable. The planned project period is until at least 31.12.2026, with the option to extend until 30.06.2027
