COBOL Developer (m/w/d) - Mainframe Systems Financial Sector

Your Tasks

• Further development and optimization of existing COBOL applications
• Conceptualization and implementation of new software solutions in the financial sector
• Tight collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to realize customer-specific requirements
• Integration of application systems on the mainframe and support for our customers in application management of these solutions
• Participation in modernizing legacy systems
• Development and maintenance of high-performance payment processing systems based on classic mainframe technologies (e.g. COBOL, DB2) as a team member

Your Profile

• Fundamental experience in COBOL development (or deep knowledge of DB2 or Adabas)
• Bachelor's degree in the field of economics/information technology or a comparable qualification
• Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach
• Teamwork ability and excellent communication skills
• Very good German language skills (min. C1)
• Readiness for continuous professional development in a rapidly changing technological environment
