Description de l'entreprise For one of our clients based in the Canton of Geneva , we are offering a position as: Coal Purchase Manager For a fixed-term contract with a 100% workload. Description du poste Sourcing & Supplier Management Identify and engage international coal suppliers in line with operational and commercial requirements. Review and assess supplier proposals based on quality, pricing, and overall value considerations. Manage and develop the supplier portfolio, including qualifications and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and external partners. Coordinate and facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless integration of coal purchases into the overall business strategy. Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics to optimize coal purchasing decisions. Provide regular updates on supplier performance and market developments to senior management. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics and KPIs. Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier diversity, sustainability, and social responsibility. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices and implementing process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute coal purchasing strategies that align with business objectives. Provide expert advice on coal market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to internal stakeholders.
