Co-Leitung Team Menschen und Kultur

The Education Foundation operates as a theme advocate for best education nationwide and as a non-profit organization directly at the grassroots level through its nationwide network of educational engagement, kindergarten and school support associations, strengthens those acting, promotes participation and diversity, and lets ideas become reality on site. It is recognized as a legal foundation under civil law, non-partisan and independent.

We are looking for, immediately until 31.12.2026 (extension explicitly sought) in Berlin and remote, part-time (25-30 hours/week), an Co-Leitung Team Menschen und Kultur.

The Team Menschen und Kultur ensures that our honorary and employed colleagues have the opportunity to provide best education for all children and young people. Our thematic fields range from shaping organizational culture and processes, personnel management and planning over labor law, daily care up to alumni management. Our goal is always to create a creative and positive working environment for best education for every child nationwide.

Aufgaben

self-responsible steering and further development of the area Menschen und Kultur for employed and honorary colleagues in close coordination with the second Co-Leitung and the Board

Further development of the dual organizational culture of the Education Foundation

Further development of the honorary and employed leadership staff within the Education Foundation

Main work areas: personnel management and planning, employment contracts, labor law, salary, further education

disciplinary responsibility for 20-30 employees

Support and consultation of the Board with professional competence and process expertise

Qualifikation

structured, goal-oriented with hands-on mentality

several years of work experience including leadership experience in the area Menschen und Kultur or similar areas

very good knowledge of the practical application of labor and company law and TVöD Bund desired

independent, goal-oriented and pragmatic working style with good time management

digital work style, mastery of MS Office and personnel software

quick integration into new work fields and situational reacting, solution-oriented approach to dynamic changing requirements

make decisions in the sense of the organization and the Board and represent them

intercultural / inclusive mindset

work experience in a nationwide non-profit organization desired
