Festival, Stadion oder Konzert – you want to quickly get a drink and stand 20 minutes in the queue. At the end, you miss the best moment of the event.

We solve this problem with eventbro.

eventbro is a browser-based Mobile-Ordering- & Payment-Solution for Events, Festivals, Arenas and Caterers. Guests order food & drinks directly over their smartphone – without app download, without queuing. The pickup occurs through clearly defined Fast-Lane- & Pick-up-Prozesses.

Our solution is already live in operation:

Basing on a pilot project with Mastercard at the Fairground Festival 2024, we have developed eventbro 2025 technically and operationally. Today, we work with Arenas, Festivals, Foodtrucks and Caterers – and are just at the beginning.

Now we are looking for you, to bring eventbro technologically to the next level.

Aufgaben

CTO / Technical Co-Founder

You will not just write code – you shape product, architecture and vision actively with.

Your Mission

• Further development of an already live product

Focus on scalability, performance, stability and new features – no Greenfield-Theory project.

• End-to-End responsibility for Tech & Product

Architecture, APIs, Frontend, UX-decisions – you shape how eventbro technically works.

• Scaling for large events & new customers

• Tight collaboration with Founders, Design & Business

Short distances, quick decisions, direct impact.

• Mit-shaping of product vision & roadmap

You decide with what is built – and why.

• Perspective: Building & leading a small Dev-Team

Technical Background (as orientation)

⚠️ The years are not hard requirements, but orientation.

• React.js or React Native – ca. 3+ years
• Node.js & Cloud-Architectures (e.g. AWS, Serverless, Lambda) – ca. 3+ years
• TypeScript – ca. 2–3+ years
• API-Design (REST / GraphQL) – ca. 2+ years
• Erfahrung with scalable web- & SaaS-Architectures
• Clean, tested and maintainable code
• Erfahrung with payment integrations (e.g. Stripe) from an advantage
• Understanding of product development from MVP to Scale

Workstyle & Setup

• Hybrid-Setup

Ideal would be you 2–3 days per week in Munich on site – for close collaboration, quick decisions and product iterations.

• High degree of design freedom

You work directly with the founders and have a say in the direction of the company.

• Build, Measure, Learn
