CNC Programmer

Generate and ensure the development of programs for machines using Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) language to produce parts and components of different mechanical seals, ensuring their effective manufacturing in terms of quality and cost, making the operation and sale profitable by ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Generation of CNC OFFLINE programs for assigned machines at the plant, using CAD/CAM automation and following the CADCAM procedure, as well as generating Mazatrol programs if necessary.
• Use global cutting conditions and their maintenance in conjunction with manufacturing, according to material specifications.
• Ensure compliance with predefined programming standards according to product and provide feedback on findings.
• Ensure correct and complete documentation of CNC programs in NC Base.
• Determine cycle times and preparation times by strategy, as well as updating these in the route and ERP system; additionally, participate in validation and backup of these.
• Advise plant personnel for better use of programs on site, ensuring that standard structure and procedure are respected.
• Actively collaborate with compliance to HSEQ management systems applicable.
• Take responsibility for aspects of the SST (Safety and Health at Work) and environmental system under your control.
• Comply with other activities indicated in operational procedures and controls.
• Comply with company policies, regulations, and code of ethics.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the plant in general and particularly at your workstation, following 5 S's guidelines.
