CNC Operator Frezen – Gent

Job description For a leading motor manufacturer in Ghent, we are looking for a CNC Frezer. This organization is specialized in the development and production of motors that are used in ships, locomotives, and generator sets. The company strives continuously to develop more efficient motors with higher power output and lower fuel consumption. As a CNC Frezer, you play a crucial role in the production process and contribute to the high quality standards of the organization. Your main tasks will be: • To operate and maintain CNC machines for the production of motor components; • To ensure that all products meet the required quality standards; • To work according to the instructions and guidelines provided by the production manager; • To participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste; • To maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations. Requirements: • A vocational training or higher education in mechanical engineering or a related field; • At least 2 years of experience as a CNC operator or in a similar role; • Knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g. G-code); • Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling; • Ability to work accurately and efficiently; • Good communication skills; • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
