CNC Turner (m/f/d)

Location Altdorf | Start: immediately - unlimited | Full-time 35 hours per week | Shift work

Responsibilities

• Production of special piston rods for internal and external demand
• Independent setup/retooling of modern CNC lathes – automated lathes and lathes with bar feeders, with up to 4 spindles, 11 axes and counter spindle (Tornos Evo Deco), sliding head lathes
• Tool preparation including selection of tools and basic holders as well as measurement of geometry
• Independent quality controls with various measuring instruments are familiar to you daily, as well as monitoring the manufacturing process
• Routine handling of CNC programs, running in and making program changes

Profile

• Completed training as a cutting machine operator, specialization in turning, or equivalent qualification (e.g., industrial mechanic)
• At least 3 years of professional experience, familiar with setting up CNC lathes
• Confident work according to drawings
• Knowledge in programming
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Team spirit and an independent, quality-oriented way of working are a matter of course for you
• Knowledge of the Fanuc control system
