What will you do?
You are responsible for the precise machining of metal parts for molds and tools. This includes both turning and milling, using conventional and CNC machines. You make a crucial contribution to the quality and precision of molds for plastic packaging products.
Core tasks and responsibilities:
· Setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes and CNC milling machines.
· Machining parts according to technical drawings and specifications (2D and sometimes 3D).
· Working with conventional lathes and milling machines for specific or single-piece operations.
· Configuring machines according to drawings and monitoring correct operation and production.
· Checking dimensions and tolerances (micron accuracy) with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and a 3D measuring bench.
· Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
· Recording operations, settings, and production data in the system.
· Communicating with colleagues and supervisors about operations and next steps.
· Contributing to optimizations in machining methods and tool usage.
· Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety in the workplace.ProfileWhat do we expect?
· Technical education (TSO/BSO in mechanical engineering, machining) or equivalent through experience.
· Experience with CNC programming and reading technical drawings.
· At least 1 year of experience with turning and/or milling is a plus.
· Accurate, independent, quality-oriented, and eager to learn.
· Team player with flexibility and stress resistance.
