Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating CNC press brake machines and related equipment to fabricate parts that meet precise specifications. You’ll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with a team that values quality, safety, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Operate CNC press brakes (e.g., Cincinnati Auto Form) and other fabrication machinery as part of the production process.
  • Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material specifications.
  • Set up tooling, load programs and configure machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect tools and materials to confirm they are safe and suitable for use.
  • Fabricate parts in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
  • Perform secondary operations such as sawing, punching, laser cutting, and tube bending as needed.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment and handle materials (up to 60 lbs.) manually or using hoists.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace organization, safety, and collaboration in line with company expectations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years of experience operating and programming a Cincinnati Auto Form or similar press brake machine.
  • Experience with CNC equipment and sheet metal fabrication strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of tooling and tool maintenance.
  • Strong measurement skills, including ability to convert between fractions and decimals.
  • Familiarity with materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tape measures, and calipers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility to work shift schedules and occasional weekends.
  • Experience with Laser cutting/NC shear punch/NC Tube bending/Laser tube cutting is considered a strong asset.
