Wijkteams Cluster Manager

For Gemeente Katwijk we are looking for a Wijkteams Cluster Manager.
As a cluster manager Wijkteam at the municipality of Katwijk, which is committed to creating a livable, safe, and future-oriented environment for its residents and entrepreneurs. Their ambitions are great: from major housing developments and new approaches in youth care to strengthening the quality of public space and improving digital service delivery. Within this organization with approximately 650 employees and a flat structure, personal leadership is central. You will have room to take responsibility, so flexibility and responsiveness are guaranteed, and you can quickly respond to societal developments. Katwijk seeks partners who combine expertise with involvement and work together with them to achieve sustainable results for Katwijk.

The Social Wijkteam is an essential link in the social domain and provides support to all residents, from young to old. You will be part of a team that works integrally, close to society, and has an eye for human scale. Together with approximately 90 enthusiastic colleagues, you will provide tailor-made solutions on various topics, such as upbringing support, psychosocial and practical support, youth care, and promoting self-reliance.

In recent years, investment has been made in a accessible, integral approach. At the same time, societal challenges are great: increasing care needs, complex youth care, and labor market shortages require a flexible and future-oriented approach. Within this context, you as cluster manager will play a key role in strengthening cooperation, stimulating innovation, and realizing a culture of learning and improvement. The development of the Wijkteam is focused on four tracks:

• A next step in planned organization, so that there can be more goal-oriented and structured work towards continuous improvement of care and service delivery.
• Strengthening information provision and data-driven working, which allows you to better steer results and trends.
• Developing the integral approach, so that residents experience one point of contact and domain-crossing cooperation is secured.
• Strengthening the connection with the social base by close collaboration with social partners and volunteer initiatives.

A strategic decision will be made in the short term about the future organization form of the Wijkteam (Future-proof Wijkteam). You will take a key role as a conversation partner and implementer, set course in a dynamic environment, and give direction to change.

As cluster manager Wijkteam, you will provide integral leadership to approximately 90 professionals within the Social Wijkteam. Your responsibilities are:

• Strategic steering towards quality, cooperation, and results.
• Developing the Wijkteam along four tracks: data-driven working, integral approach, connection with the social base, and planned organization.
• Active contribution from the implementation to regional cooperation (specialized youth care and future scenarios for youth).
• Participating in the CMD (cluster manager team and management team) for organizational development.
• Implementing trajectories of Wijkteam Development and Future-proof Wijkteam.
