The CGM reports to a Regional Operations Manager and collaborates with other club managers to share best practice. Key Responsibilities Manage the club team and maintain high service and brand standards. Drive club performance through membership sales, revenue, and expense management, ensuring the club meets or exceeds targets. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of fitness professionals to deliver exceptional member experiences. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that aligns with the Planet Fitness brand values. Ensure the club is clean, organized, and properly maintained. Manage all aspects of club operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Control controllable expenses to achieve profitability goals. Utilize operational and financial reports to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement. Resolve member complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives and promote the club. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in fitness and club management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in the fitness or hospitality industry. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals. Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage budgets and control expenses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
