This is a Cloud SME role with Unisys based in Canberra, ACT, AU Unisys Role Seniority - senior More about the Cloud SME role at Unisys What success looks like in this role: Unisys is seeking a Cloud SME to lead and support cloud operations across AWS and Azure platforms, with a strong focus on Amazon Connect, Microsoft Entra, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). This role will be pivotal in ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments for mission-critical workloads in alignment with Unisys' cloud-first strategy. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining cloud architecture designs and roadmaps • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud adoption and migration strategies align with business objectives • Providing technical guidance and support for cloud-based projects and initiatives • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams • Participating in regular meetings to review progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for future cloud-based projects and initiatives. What we're looking for: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms • Strong understanding of Amazon Connect, Microsoft Entra, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) technologies • Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of customers • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Certification in AWS or Azure is highly desirable • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the government sector, is highly valued.
