The Opportunity A leading Australian consultancy is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to architect and deliver secure, scalable cloud platforms for government, defence, finance, and enterprise clients. This hybrid position combines on-site engagement with office and home-based flexibility, giving you the variety of environments you need while ensuring close alignment with critical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Architect secure cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms. Develop and maintain cloud security architectures, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet customer requirements. Provide expert-level guidance on cloud security best practices, threat mitigation strategies, and compliance frameworks. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and innovations. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity. 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including zero trust, least privilege, and just-in-time provisioning. Experience with cloud security tools, such as AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, and Okta. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
