The focus lies on the conception, installation, and configuration of security-relevant systems as well as the support of the Cyber-Defense-Center (CDC) at the Wendlingen location.

Your tasks

• Conception, installation, and configuration of security-relevant systems and system landscapes with focus on Cloud Security (Azure)

• Hands-on installation, configuration, and administration of systems in the relevant technology stack (e.g. Kubernetes, Palo Alto, zScaler, Sailpoint)

• Development and validation of security solutions and security concepts in client projects

• Derivation of security measures based on CDC requirements and ISMS risk analyses

• Specification of security measures in the system concept as well as documentation in projects and operation

• Identification and feedback of requirement and security gaps

• Accompaniment of implementation including validation and documentation

• Regular coordination with the Cyber Defense Center

• Development of system concepts for security projects (e.g. CNAPP, NDR)

• Updating and expanding IT security requirements as well as derivation of new regulations to close security gaps

• Integration of standard solutions and maintenance of the Capability Matrix

• Documentation of implementation status and maintenance of ArchiMate-based Security Architecture

• Consulting security architects in technical implementation questions

Must requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of Cloud-Security (focus on Azure) and On-Prem-Security

• Fundamental experience in conceiving, installing, configuring, and operating security-relevant systems

• Hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, and administration (no mere conceptual role)

• Experience in holistic design of data centers (RZ-Design)

• Ability to technically implement security concepts as well as translate requirements from ISMS, CDC, and Security Architecture into technical measures

• Secure handling of the technology stack consisting of Palo Alto Firewalls, Kubernetes, zScaler Private Access, Sailpoint IdentityIQ, and Keycloak in connection with EntraID

• Completed studies or training in Computer Science, IT-Security, Network Technology, or a comparable field

• Verifiable German language skills (at least C1 level) as well as solid English language skills

• Willingness to conduct security checks (SÜG) and corresponding pre-screening

• Personal references for projects in the DACH region as well as for system integration in the context of critical infrastructure (KRITIS)

• Willingness for regular on-site deployments (approx. 3 days per week) in the Baden-Württemberg region

Can requirements

• Experience with Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) and Network Detection and Response (NDR)

• Knowledge of maintaining ArchiMate-based Security Architectures

• Experience in the field of ISMS risk analyses and specification of security measures in the CDC environment

• Knowledge in administering Linux distributions (e.g. RHEL), Windows Servers, and Proxmox VE

Further information

The deployment will take place at the Wendlingen location with a presence requirement of 3 days per week. The remote component is approximately 40 %.
