We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (m/w/d) to strengthen a three-person team in the further development of a cloud-native development and deployment environment for data-use-cases within a large insurance group.

Your tasks

• Further development of frontend components of the platform based on Vue.js and backend in Go

• Implementation and execution of unit tests and integration tests

• Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure

• Maintenance of relevant technical documentation

• Creation of onboarding guides for platform users

• Deployment in the cloud using Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and Terraform

Must-have requirements

• Fundamental experience in software development (full-stack) with a focus on Vue.js in frontend and Go in backend

• Proven experience in implementing cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS

• Secure handling of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible

• Experience in implementing and executing unit tests and integration tests

• Secure handling of Git and Gitlab

• Passion for software development, modern tech trends, and a strong hands-on mentality

• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking

• Strong team player with an open and honest communication style

Can-have requirements

• Experience with the Orchestrator Nomad

• Interest in integrating AI technologies into modern software architectures

• Openness to continuous learning and integration into new tools and technologies

• Experience in creating technical documentation and onboarding guides

The activity will take place mainly remotely with a planned share of up to 20 on-site days at the customer's location.
