Job description

The Cloud Platform Engineering team is looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager based in Lille.

At Decathlon, we believe it is essential to make the joys and benefits of sport accessible to everyone.

To achieve this, our teams need an efficient, scalable, and secure information system. Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) contributes to this goal by developing internal products and services that simplify the lives of tech teams, accelerate delivery, strengthen security, and improve operational and cost control.

Within this ecosystem, our Cloud Platform offering relies on several complementary products:

  • 3S (Self Service Stack), our internal cloud self-service platform primarily focused on GCP;
  • Cloud Kraft, which complements our platform offering for services not industrialized in 3S;
  • our managed service on AWS, intended to support teams with specific needs in this environment.

Together, these products enable teams to provision, deploy, evolve, and operate their cloud assets through a standardized, industrialized, and documented approach, with a high level of demand on security, resilience, observability, and cost control.

Your Mission

As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you will drive the evolution of our Cloud Platform product portfolio, with a central role on 3S, Cloud Kraft, and our AWS managed service offering.

Your role is to maximize the value delivered to user teams by improving:

  • the clarity of the offering and its positioning;
  • the quality of the developer experience;
  • the adoption of the platform's components and services;
  • the product consistency between provisioning, standards, documentation, support, and integration into Decathlon's engineering ecosystem.

You will operate at the intersection of product, platform, and usage, with a strong sensitivity to scalability, security, standardization, observability, and cost control.

Your Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Define and champion the product vision for our Cloud Platform offering and its various components.
  • Clarify the positioning, promises, use cases, and priorities of 3S, Cloud Kraft, and the AWS managed service.
  • Evolve the offering in line with team needs, engineering constraints, and cloud market trends.

Discovery & User Understanding

  • Conduct continuous discovery with engineering, platform, security, and product teams.
  • Understand pain points, actual needs, and trade-offs between autonomy, security, standardization, time-to-market, and cost.
  • Transform field feedback into concrete and prioritized product opportunities.

Roadmap & Delivery

  • Manage a multi-product roadmap, in close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Prioritize evolutions based on user value, business impact, and technical challenges.
  • Monitor execution until the effective availability of features and services.

Adoption, Documentation, and Change

  • Improve the integration of products into engineering workflows and the IDP.
  • Champion clear, maintainable, and usage-oriented documentation.
  • Support adoption through education, training, rituals, and product evangelism.

Product Performance Measurement

  • Define performance, adoption, satisfaction, and efficiency KPIs.
  • Use data to inform product decisions and support investment trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on FinOps and usage optimization challenges on both GCP and AWS.

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in Product Management for a technical product, internal platform, or an engineering-intensive environment.
  • Ability to communicate with Dev, Ops, Platform, Security, FinOps profiles.
  • Good understanding of cloud environments and their standardization, governance, observability, and operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of GCP and AWS ecosystems, with the ability to reason about offerings with different maturity and service levels.
  • Solid discovery / delivery culture, sense of prioritization, and impact orientation.
  • Comfort in transforming complex technical topics into clear and actionable product decisions.

Product & Technical Environment

What will make you stand out

  • A genuine sensitivity for internal products and the developer experience
  • The ability to manage a portfolio of platform products with different use cases and maturity levels
  • The ability to bridge technical challenges, adoption challenges, and business challenges
  • A taste for complex, cross-functional, and international environments
  • The desire to contribute to useful, sustainable technology that serves all Decathlon teams
