Cloud Platform Engineer - Intermediate (Dunedin)

Introduction Build your cloud skills in a practical, hands-on role. We’re looking for an Intermediate Cloud Platform Engineer to support the delivery and day-to-day operation of our cloud platform. This is a junior-to-intermediate position, suited to someone who’s started their cloud journey and wants to keep developing in a structured, supportive environment. You’ll work closely with the Cloud Platform Lead and engineering teams to implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using established frameworks and tools. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions for our customers. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud services. • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud platform operations. • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in a cloud-related role, preferably in an AWS or Azure environment. • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. • Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with another is desirable. • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience.
