Cloud Network Engineer

This is a role for someone who wants to have a real impact on the development of highly complex environments - where cloud, automation, and network security are the foundation of operation. In this role: you will co-create and develop network architecture in the Google Cloud Platform environment you will build and develop hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions you will create scalable and resilient network topologies (LAN/WAN) you will develop Software Defined Networking approaches and network configuration automation Areas where you will have an impact Architecture and design designing and developing architecture in GCP (VPC, NCC, Cloud Router, routing, load balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS) developing hybrid solutions (Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, Cloud VPN) designing highly available and resilient network environments Automation and implementation designing and configuring network environments in GCP automating provisioning using Terraform, IaC, Ansible and CI/CD developing GitOps approach in the infrastructure area implementing security policies and segmentation (Fortinet, Palo Alto NGFW) managing Cisco infrastructure (ISR/ASR, Catalyst, Nexus) implementing VPN (IPSec, SSL VPN) and GRE tunnels Maintenance and development diagnosing complex incidents in Data Center and GCP environments optimizing network performance and reliability developing documentation and operational standards collaborating with technology and business teams on network solutions Qualifications you have at least 3 years of experience in Cloud Networking in GCP you have solid network fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent) you work with automation and understand the GitOps approach you have experience in network security (Fortinet, Palo Alto) you know dynamic routing well (OSPF, BGP) you work with VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL VPN) you are ready for on-call duties you communicate in English at a minimum B2 level you have a Category B driver's license An additional asset would be: experience in monitoring, observability, and alerting in network environments knowledge of Cisco ACI Additional information What we offer Access to advanced training and laboratory environments (Google Skills credits, Cisco Modeling Lab, sandboxes) Access to educational platforms (e.g., CBT Nuggets, Cisco U) Opportunity to work with modern technologies in production-scale environments Cooperation in an inclusive and collaborative environment, with exposure to international projects Cooperation in a B2B model Why it's worth joining this collaboration If you like solving complex network challenges and want to operate in an environment where scale, automation, and security have real meaning - this role offers the opportunity to co-create one of the fastest-growing technology organizations in Europe.
