A successful, global software house is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to get involved in supporting their Azure based software in a production environment

What you’ll bring:
- BSc or BEng or IT degree
- At least 3 years Windows Server & Linux technical support experience including solid Azure Cloud services skills
- Happy to handle technical customer support tickets
- Familiar with SQL database and basic scripting and happy to learn more?
- Proven experience managing Azure IaaS, including VMs, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and Storage Accounts
- Understanding of Azure RBAC, policy management, and resource governance
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Experience optimising cost management and resource utilisation in Azure
- Understanding of hybrid environments, including on-prem to cloud integrations
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, and conditional access policies
- Familiar with production level web hosting in Azure
- Comfortable with scripting and automation using PowerShell or CLI for Azure
- Strong grasp of cloud security best practices, including network security groups, firewall rules, private endpoints, and identity management
- Good collaborative team player
- Opportunity to get involved in supporting SaaS at scale in an Azure Cloud team
