Projektron GmbH develops and sells the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. More than 130 employees at five locations in Germany ensure support for our more than 820 customers across Europe, as well as the continuous further development of our software.

We are now looking for employees for our headquarters in Berlin to support the development of our cloud in full-time or part-time.

Tasks

• Support in the maintenance and further development of our automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
• Maintenance and care of existing hosting VMs and instances
• Communication with our data center service provider
• Participation in the migration of the cloud environment to container technologies for optimizing resource utilization
• Creation and implementation of technical concepts for containerization and connection to existing management structures
• Shared responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security

Qualifications

• Good to very good degree in an IT-related field of study or completed training in computer science or comparable knowledge acquired through professional experience
• Experience in the administration of an automated hosting environment
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools
• Experience in the technical administration of web applications
• Administration of Linux server systems
• Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet
• Very good German language skills (C1 or higher)
