Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud engineer, you help clients accelerate their digital transformation by designing, realizing, and optimizing cloud solutions. You can easily switch between strategic thinking and operational execution, and you work closely with Itility's Managing Consultants and Cloud engineers. Does this energize you? What you will do

You will work in a project team of passionate professionals on the design, implementation, and improvement of Cloud environments. Together with your fellow consultants, you will work on innovative projects at large clients in diverse sectors.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzing client challenges and translating them into practical cloud solutions

• Designing and implementing Cloud architectures (e.g., in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

• Automating infrastructure and application management using IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines

• Improving existing Cloud environments in terms of cost, security, performance, and manageability

• Coaching clients and colleagues in the use of Cloud technology and DevOps practices

• Building a sustainable client relationship and identifying new opportunities

This is you

You are someone who likes to take responsibility, switches quickly, and always looks for the best solution. You know how to bridge the gap between technology and business, and are able to clearly communicate complex subjects. Furthermore, you possess:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering

• More than 3 years of experience as a Cloud consultant or engineer in an enterprise or consultancy environment

• In-depth knowledge of at least one Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

• Experience with topics such as Cloud cost control, security, networking, and monitoring

• Skills in scripting/automation (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Python, or PowerShell)

• Strong communication skills and a result-oriented mindset

• A valid Dutch or US passport.
