Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Job Description Overview In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust server environments across Windows and Linux platforms. You will collaborate closely with the IT team to support the ongoing success of various projects and initiatives, including cloud networking, system performance monitoring, security implementation, and disaster recovery solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of mission-critical applications and services. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, deploying, and managing Azure-based infrastructure for various business units and departments. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions that meet specific business needs. • Ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based systems and data through implementation of best practices and adherence to organizational policies. • Monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for Azure-based infrastructure and services. • Participating in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues. • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve and optimize Azure-based infrastructure.
