Aufgaben

Our mission? Digitalizing Germany.
You will work actively in project teams at customers from various industries. Depending on the project, tasks and technological environments may vary.

• Self-study of customer requirements
• Conceptualization and optimization of complex IT systems in the cloud environment
• Architecture of solution designs with modern technologies
• Evaluation of cloud architectures and presentation of results at management level
• Work with private cloud technologies and related services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Work with modern cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, STACKIT Cloud)
• Automating CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and release cycles, e.g., with Jenkins, Gitlab or Azure DevOps
• Built container solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Conceptualization and implementation of infrastructure with the help of 'Infrastructure as Code'
• Coaching team members regarding cloud architectures
• Support in ARES internal projects

Qualifikation

• Studies or training in the field of IT
• Multiple years of professional experience with cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS, Hetzner) or private cloud infrastructures
• You feel comfortable in on-premises-, private cloud- and public cloud-environments and are flexible in both worlds
• You have relevant experience in the DevOps field
• You have very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code
• You know how to design cloud infrastructures, both in IaaS and PaaS environments
• You have a genuine desire to digitalize processes and accompany customers with their cloud strategy
• You are flexible in various customer industries (e.g. public sector, automotive, finance)
• Ideal would be experience in consulting
• You are self-motivated, customer-oriented, communicative, and work well in a team
• You are ambitious and willing to quickly adapt to new topics
• You have a desire to grow with ARES and engage internally
• You bring a willingness to travel within Germany for important client meetings (average 3 days/month)
• Your very good German and English skills round out your profile
• Readiness for security clearance: Due to our cooperation with customers from the public sector, a security clearance (SÜ1 or SÜ2) according to SÜG may be required
