Aufgaben

Our mission? Digitalizing Germany.
You will work actively in project teams for various customers from different industries. Depending on the project, tasks and technological environments may vary.

• Self-study of customer requirements, conceptualization, and optimization of complex IT systems in the cloud environment
• Architecture of solution designs with modern technologies
• Evaluation of cloud architectures and presentation of results at management level
• Work with modern cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, STACKIT Cloud)
• Work with private cloud technologies and related services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Automating CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and release cycles, e.g., with Jenkins, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps
• Built container solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Conceptualization and implementation of infrastructure with the help of 'Infrastructure as Code'
• Coaching team members regarding cloud architectures
• Support in ARES internal projects

Qualifikation

• Studies or training in the field of IT or comparable professional experience
• Multiple years of professional experience with at least one cloud service provider (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS, Hetzner) or private cloud infrastructure
• You feel comfortable both in on-premises/private and public cloud environments and are flexible in both worlds
• You have relevant experience in the DevOps field
• You have very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code
• You know how to conceptualize cloud infrastructure both in IaaS and PaaS environments
• You are eager to digitalize processes and accompany customers with their cloud strategy
• You are flexible in various customer industries (e.g. public sector, automotive, pharma, finance)
• You are self-motivated, customer-oriented, communicative, work well in a team, and have a professional appearance
• You are ambitious and willing to quickly adapt to new topics
• You are excited to grow with ARES!
• Ideal candidate already has experience in consulting
• You bring a willingness to travel within Germany for important customer meetings on site (average max. 3 days/month)
• Your very good German and English skills complete your profile
