Job description

Our client is a successful trading company with a global network of suppliers. We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen the team.

Location: Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region (remote work possible) | Start date according to personal availability

Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the further development and automation of a modern cloud platform and manage central services within the Azure environment.
  • You will design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform and Bicep, ensuring standardized deployment and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Together with the responsible stakeholders, you will analyze requirements and translate them into concrete technical tasks and prioritized work packages.
  • You will accompany your platform components throughout their entire lifecycle, from development and implementation to stable operation.
  • In the event of technical disruptions and complex error patterns, you will take responsibility for analyzing, scoping, and sustainably resolving the underlying causes.
  • You will systematically document relevant disruptions and solutions and derive measures from them to improve platform stability.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Practical experience with public cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern cloud architectures and the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform and Bicep.
  • Knowledge in areas such as cloud governance, policy management, central logging, and automated deployments.
  • Understanding of modern development and operations models as well as CI/CD processes.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
