As Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and continuously developing a modern data-lakehouse architecture based on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. You will prepare complex data sources using SQL and Python, develop insightful analytics and BI solutions, and ensure high-quality data through automated integrations and stable pipeline monitoring.

Tasks

• BUILD, OPERATE, and continuously develop the data environment based on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
• PREPARE, TRANSFORM, and model raw data (e.g. JSON, XML) using SQL as well as Python (PySpark, Pandas) for reporting and analytical purposes
• DEVELOP and MAINTAIN Power-BI-Dashboards as well as Databricks-Visualizations to provide decision-relevant insights for other departments
• CONCEIVE, IMPLEMENT, and MANAGE automation workflows in Make (including Shopify–Infor-Sync), EDI-data flows, and API-integrations with internal and external systems

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics or equivalent qualification
• Fundamental understanding of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)
• Mult-year experience with SQL as well as solid Python knowledge for data processing and automation
• Very good knowledge in Make, including Webhooks, API-authentication, and JSON-processing
• Strong analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and developed business understanding
