Clinical Psychologist

What you can expect: This diverse MDT of Health Professionals, work cohesively together providing rehabilitation services to the central region. Based in Palmerston North, the team has grown, with this Clinical Psychologist role becoming available due to career movement. Working with a range of ACC and private contracts, Psychology services are involved with clients needing rehabilitation after injury, with pain management, under private & ACC contracts. What you have to do: * Provide Psychological assessments and interventions for clients; * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; * Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of client progress; * Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions and treatment outcomes; * Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of treatment plans; * Collaborate with other health professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care. What you need: * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; * Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPS); * Current practicing certificate with the NZPS; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment; * Familiarity with ACC and private insurance contracts and processes.
